Miles for the Mind
Welcome to Trail Therapy Running — we’re so glad you’re here.
At Trail Therapy, we believe in miles for mental health. Our events are designed to challenge your body, steady your mind, and remind you why you fell in love with trail running in the first place.
Join us for unique, endurance-focused running experiences at beautiful local parks, including Fort Steilacoom Park in Lakewood, WA and McCormick Forest Park in Gig Harbor, WA. We host timed events ranging from 3 hours to 24 hours, welcoming runners of all backgrounds, goals, and grit levels.
In addition to our events, we also host weekly group trail runs in the Tacoma area. Check out our events and group run tab for more information.
Come for the miles. Stay for the community. 🏃♀️🌲
Trail Therapy Running
About Us

What is Trail Therapy?
Trail Therapy Running is a community-focused event company built around the things we love most: good people, good food, good trails, and a good time.
You won’t find anything overly fancy or full of frills here. We’re not interested in creating a commercialized race experience or filling your swag bag with things you’ll never use. Instead, we’re here to create memories, meaningful experiences, and a place where people genuinely want to come back.
We’re a family-run, grassroots events company, and that’s something we’re proud of. Our goal is simple: create a space where people can challenge themselves, connect with their community, discover what they’re capable of, and have a damn good time doing it.
We believe races should be accessible, which is why we work hard to keep our entry fees affordable. We want enough people on the course to make it feel like a party, but not so many that you become just another bib number.
Because at Trail Therapy Running, you’re more than a participant. You’re part of our community.
Come for the miles.
Stay for the people.
Leave with memories.
