


Run Coaching and Personal Training
Strength to Summit Coaching is led by NASM Certified Personal Trainer and UESCA Certified Running Coach, Amanda Rasmussen. All Strength to Summit Athletes receive a functional movement assessment, gait analysis and a plan tailored to their goals and needs.

Who We Are

Amanda Rasmussen is a NASM Certified Personal Trainer and UESCA Certified Running Coach who specializes in customized running and strength training programs tailored to each athlete’s unique goals. She works with runners of all levels, from 5K athletes to competitors tackling multi-day ultramarathon events.
In addition to coaching, Amanda instructs group exercise classes at her local YMCA and provides personalized health coaching in both one-on-one and group settings. Her approach combines intelligent training, strength development, and sustainable habits to help athletes build resilience and perform at their highest potential.
Among her notable running accomplishments, Amanda qualified for the Boston Marathon with a 3:26 marathon, holds a 50-mile personal record of 8:33, and a 100-mile personal record of 21:40. She has completed distances up to 221 miles, including the iconic Tahoe 200 in June 2024, showcasing exceptional endurance and mental toughness at the highest level of ultrarunning.
Coaching Services - Basic

Our basic option includes a personalized 12-week training program tailored to your specific goals, experience level, and schedule. This plan provides clear structure and guidance but does not include ongoing support, check-ins, or plan modifications once it has been delivered.
This option is ideal for experienced runners who want expert programming and accountability through structure, without the need for additional coaching support.
Cost: $150 (one-time fee)
Monthly Coaching Services - Premium

Our premium coaching option provides comprehensive, hands-on support to help you perform at your best. This package includes a detailed gait analysis, functional movement assessment, and static assessments to ensure your training plan is built on a strong foundation.
Your training plan is delivered monthly and includes bi-weekly phone or in-person check-ins, along with unlimited text and email support. This option allows for ongoing plan modifications as needed, ensuring your training evolves with your progress, schedule, and life demands.
This is a month-to-month membership with no contract required, giving you the flexibility to conclude services after your goal race or whenever life calls for a change.
Cost: $125/month

Shannon is a National Certified Counselor, Licensed Professional Counselor (PA), and an assistant run coach.
She specializes in helping ultramarathon runners with anxiety, trauma, eating disorders, mindset, race performance, and general mental well-being.
Her mindset and mental wellness coaching services are for newer to seasoned ultrarunners all over the U.S.
